Tom Busch, CEO, named his company after the USS Allagash, the ship he served on while on active duty. During a tour in the Mediterranean, Tom was injured. His injuries were severe enough to end his career in the U.S. Navy and resulted in him becoming a life member with the Disabled American Veterans (DAV).

VA for Vets is a comprehensive career support and management program for Veterans, National Guard, Reserve members, VA employees that are Veterans, and transitioning active-duty service members. Allagash is providing the strategic communications and marketing program for VA for Vets that implementation of all program-related marketing communications activities including but not limited to: writing, design and production of campaign materials; website and social media content development and optimization; media planning and buying for promotional campaigns; and outreach campaigns to targeted audience segments, events and public relations support.
Received two year SDVOSB re-certification
In 2013 Allagash Group received its two year re-certification from the VA as a verified SDVOSB. Since its founding, Allagash Group, LLC has continued to grow and mature as an organization. Allagash Group provides integrated advertising, public relations, social media and digital marketing services through specialized practices in government, health care, social marketing and advocacy.
Awarded MD DHMH Contract
Maryland’s Commitment to Veterans is a Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene program devoted to total wellness for veterans and their families. Allagash facilitated a branding workshop for Maryland’s Commitment to Veterans leadership and stakeholders to evaluate the brand and suggest and implement changes to the marketing strategy. Allagash then provided the outreach and marketing materials to drive implementation of all program-related marketing communications activities, including, but not limited to copywriting, design and production of collateral materials, giveaways, and website development and optimization.
